The Delhi government has placed an order with GreenCell Mobility for 570 electric buses. This is a huge step forward for the city in terms of reducing emissions and improving air quality. The buses will be deployed across various routes in the city, and will make a significant difference to the lives of residents.

GreenCell Mobility Ltd. (GreenCell), a provider of shared e-mobility services, announced on Monday that the Government of NCT Delhi had placed an order for 570 electric buses.

State-owned Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) announced a tender under the National E-bus Program (NEBP) for the order, according to a statement from the business.

The largest tender for E-buses ever floated in India is this deal for 6,465 vehicles on Gross Cost Contracting (GCC) basis, according to the statement.

GreenCell won a contract for 570 low-floor e-buses to be deployed over the next two years after submitting a bid for 1,900 low-floor e-buses in the tender floated by CESL, a government of India entity.
