AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal’s ex-husband Naveen Jaihind sought a FIR against Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday, two days after she was attacked at the Delhi Chief Minister’s home.

Since the event occurred at Arvind Kejriwal’s house, a formal complaint should be filed against him. Sanjay Singh, a member of the AAP Rajya Sabha, is Kejriwal’s parrot, Jaihind said to the news agency ANI, repeating his accusation that Singh was “aware” of the occurrence.

Jaihind declared that if Maliwal, the former head of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), is under “pressure,” “I will definitely help.”

One cannot silence Swati. I am aware of the level of pressure she has faced. The situation has to be taken seriously by Delhi Police. I know them (AAP) better than anyone else,” he declared.

Tuesday, one day following the dramatic incident at Kejriwal’s home, saw the AAP finally come clean, admitting to the “misbehaviour” with Maliwal and placing the responsibility on the chief minister’s private secretary, Bibhav Kumar.

“There was a very despicable event yesterday. Swati Maliwal was mistreated by Bibhav Kumar. She reported the incident to the police. Senior lawmaker Sanjay Singh addressed a news conference, saying, “The Delhi Chief Minister has taken notice of the situation and urged for strong action in it.
