The foreign minister of Ukraine calls on ASEAN to stop Russia’s “hunger games.”
Ukraine’s foreign minister has called on Southeast Asian countries to take all measures possible to ensure Russia does not play hunger games regarding shipments of Ukrainian grain to the global market. Dmytro Kuleba said that his counterpart Sergei Lavrov had not requested a meeting with him.
At a press conference outside the ASEAN summit, Dmytro Kuleba, the foreign minister of Ukraine, stated that Sergei Lavrov had not requested to meet with him. Russia must approach all conversations in good faith, he added.
