On Tuesday, a startling email addressed to “President Trump” and bearing the subject line, “They were authorised to shoot me,” was received by supporters of the late president.

The email continued with an equally dramatic preview, “I almost died,” according to a report. Biden’s Department of Justice was prepared to use lethal force at Mar-a-Lago.

The readers interpreted it as a cry for assistance. but quickly realised it was Trump’s requests for donations. This latest claim by Trump, which is regarded as a new low in sensationalism to garner attention, follows a contentious argument made by his attorney before the US Supreme Court. According to him, presidents ought to enjoy “absolute immunity” from everything up to and including ordering the execution of a political rival.

What is Trump discussing, then?

The allegation that Trump is “authorised to shoot me” is supported by a recently made public FBI document that describes the protocols for conducting a search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in 2022. Standard language regarding the “use of force” in such operations was included in this document.

The law enforcement operations order, as CNN put it, specified what the agents could bring and how they could conduct the search. The actual search operations, however, were much less spectacular.

Former FBI assistant director Stephen D’Antuono, who oversaw the Washington field office, claims that the FBI worked with the Secret Service to make sure the search was discrete. Trump asserted that the operation was carried out without breaking down doors or deploying a heavy presence, in contrast to his story.

Trump’s additional outrageous and deceptive fundraising emails

For instance, a recent email with the subject line “I’ve made a final decision” falsely claimed that Trump had selected a running mate. How about my choice of vice president?

Some fundraising emails advertise products or contests, such as mugs with Trump’s mugshot or opportunities to win vacations in exchange for donations.

“Have you seen my mugshot, YOU? For you, I put it on a mug.

In a social media post, Trump combined his accusation of using “deadly force” with other grievances, such as criticisms of President Joe Biden’s suitability for office and issues with the temperature in his trial courtroom. He proposed using the 25th Amendment to remove Biden from office and accused the DOJ of illegal activity.
