In order to address the expanding domestic demand in the midst of the geopolitical turmoil, India plans to increase its joint hydrocarbon projects in the Far East and the Arctic Shelf with Russia.

When Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar met with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on Tuesday, the crucial issue of India’s interest in securing energy assets in Russia was the main item on the agenda.
