Twitter from Elon Musk introduces new business verification.
The microblogging site Twitter said on Saturday that it would soon begin offering a verification service for businesses. This service was formerly known as Blue for Business.
Through Twitter’s self-serve administrative platform, subscribers will receive business accounts and affiliation badges for their organisations.
In the upcoming weeks, Twitter said, “We’ll be examining applications and granting access to a select group on a rolling basis.”
The social media company will post tweet suggestion code and make account or tweet status available no later than next month, according to an announcement made earlier in the day by Twitter owner Elon Musk. He tweeted, “Transparency breeds trust.”
