Twitter’s 100-person Trust and Safety Advisory Group has been disbanded by Elon Musk. This group was created in 2015 in order to help make Twitter a safer place for users. However, it seems that Musk has had enough of the group and has decided to disband it. It’s unclear what will happen to the members of the group, but it’s likely that they will be reassigned to other groups or tasks.
Twitter has dissolved its Trust and Safety Council. The group was formed in 2016 to address hate speech, child exploitation and other issues on the platform. Twitter informed the group via email that it was disbanding it shortly before the meeting was to take place, according to multiple members.
