The other day, I was watching Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed’s dispute about a choice that was made late. It was quite humorous. Sarfaraz was trying to convince Babar that the choice was a good one, but Babar was not having it. In the end, Sarfaraz won the argument and Babar had to concede.

Sarfaraz Ahmed has scored 78 runs in Pakistan’s first innings in the second Test. He replaced an out of form Mohammed Rizwan for the first Test against New Zealand. The batsman has scored 86 and 53 in his last two Tests for Pakistan.

The former skipper and the current skipper seem to share a great chemistry off the bat as well as behind the stumps.

Day 2 of the current second Test is when the event occurred. Tim Southee, the captain of New Zealand, was bowled by fast bowler Mir Hamza. The ball was caught by Sarfaraz behind the stumps after the latter gave it a waft. A half-appeal for a catch was made when Sarfaraz dove forward.
