The Aam Aadmi Party has contested elections in Gujarat and won. This, according to the party’s Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, makes it a national party. “Now we have a presence in all the states. We contested in Punjab, we contested in Goa, we contested in Gujarat, we contested in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, we contested in Manipur. So, AAP is now a national party,” Sisodia told NDTV.

The Aam Aadmi Party’s victory in the Gujarat Assembly elections is a major milestone for the party. For the first time, AAP has contested elections in Gujarat and won. AAP’s victory in Gujarat is a big boost to the party’s morale and will give it the much-needed impetus to expand its presence across the country.
